Teifi Seaweed Cheese is based on Teifi Natural cheese with locally harvested Laver seaweed that is added during the cheesemaking process. Laver seaweed is a popular ingredient in Welsh cuisine and adds a mild saltiness, complimenting the natural cheese.
Teifi Natural cheese is a Gouda-style cheese with a dense, smooth and creamy texture. Its mellow, slightly sweet flavour is very versatile.
Seaweed contains lots of nutrients including iodine and essential minerals.
Great in all types of cooking, on sandwiches or with crackers or just as a cheeky chunk of pure indulgence!
The wedges are sliced individually so may differ a little in size but each wedge will weigh a minimum of 180g
Each wedge is vacuum packed to seal the fresh and lovely cheese and will have a shelf life of approximately 3-4 months, unopened and refrigerated.
