Earthy beetroot houmous with smoky zest Captain Cat's Ships Biscuits.


  • 400g chickpeas (can)
  • 250g Beetroot
  • 1/2 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1/2 Lemon (juice and zest)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp Tahini
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 100ml Olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp of ground black pepper
  • 1 pack of Captain Cat's Ships Biscuits


  1. Place all of the ingredients apart from the Ships Biscuits into a food processor and process until smoothish
  2. Top with Welshman's Caviar and serve with Captain Cat's Ship's Biscuits
